Call of the Wild Cocktail

A smooth finish with a light kick of oaky bourbon makes this cocktail taste like spiked apple pie–a perfect addition for the winter season. From: Jack Rose Libation House, Los Gatos.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 ounces Buffalo Trace bourbon
  • 1 ounce cinnamon pear jam
  • ½ ounce apple ice wine
  • ¼ ounce fresh lemon juice
  • 1 bar spoon allspice dram

Instructions
 

  • Pour ingredients into a shaker and shake. Pour in an old fashioned glass over ice. Garnish with a baked apple.
