Mama Tomasa is a sauce and snack brand that works to share traditional Peruvian flavors with our region and celebrate the rich culture behind them.

Owner Brigitte Hege creates just a few products. Her Aji Amarillo sauce showcases the fruity, bright orange pepper that is essential in Peruvian cuisine, along with Peruvian Black Mint (hua-catay), while her Rocoto Red Chili sauce is made from spicy rocoto peppers and onion. She also makes chocolate quinoa crisps, in both milk and 72% dark chocolate. All are made using whole, simple ingredients with no additives. Her recipes come straight from her grandmother’s kitchen, for whom the company is named: Mama Tomasa.

You will learn quickly that the Aji Amarillo sauce goes great on anything and everything.
